Falicon has been involved in SuperMotard racing in Europe for years. Tthe AMA has started a SuperMoto racing series in the USA that has become very popular. Since most North American racers choose Japanese bikes for SuperMoto, Falicon Crankshaft now offers a full line of crankshaft components and performance modifications for the Honda CRF-450R, Yamaha YZ-450F and Suzuki DR-Z 400. Now available are Custom Stroke crankshafts, Knife\u00ae oval-beam
\nconnecting rods, adjustable cam sprockets, flywheel weights, heavy-duty cylinders, and big bore kits.<\/p>\n

Falicon SuperCrank<\/p>\n

The Falicon Supercrank is the \u201cultimate\u201d crankshaft modification for knife-edge performance. The OEM crankshaft is blueprinted to the best combination of oil clearance and precise tolerance for your specific application. The crank throws are contoured and polished to a mirror finish, improving oil flow and reducing crankcase turbulence. To complete this package, a Knife\u00ae connecting rod, premium bearing, and crank pin are installed. Each crankshaft is custom balanced to the reciprocating weight and intended rpm range<\/p>\n

Stock OEM crankshafts can be strengthened by the installation of a Knife\u00ae connecting rod and custom balanced for increased performance and reduced vibration. Eliminate the chance of the stock rod destroying your motor – replace your rod with the Knife\u00ae.<\/p>\n

For smoother delivery of power and increased torque, Falicon Crankshaft offers a \u201cheavy\u201d version of the 450 and 500+ crank. The crank is modified with the addition of approximately 2 pounds (.9kg) of rotating mass. For those situations where there is limited traction and slower engine acceleration is desired, the inertia of a heavy flywheel will reduce clutch use and rider fatigue without sacrificing peak horsepower.<\/p>\n
